Dr. White received her medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada. She completed her family medicine residency at Stony Brook University, in Stony Brook, New York. Before joining The Polyclinic, Dr. White worked at CityMD Urgent Care in Seattle.
“The function of the human body fascinated me early on from physiology and anatomy classes in high school and continued throughout college. A team physician during college inspired me to head towards the field of medicine.”
Dr. White provides primary care to patients of all ages from infants to the elderly, including treatment for acute and chronic illnesses. She has special interests in women’s health including screening and contraception (ex. IUDs, implants), and preventive medicine.
When she’s not working, Dr. White enjoys anything outdoors: hiking, biking, kayaking, snowshoeing, and snowboarding. She also enjoys cooking and loves to try and incorporate spices from around the world.
“My goal is to make my patients feel comfortable and confident with the care they are receiving. I want to learn about their physical, emotional, and social needs, and how these may contribute to their health. Through preventive care, I hope to help my patients lead long, healthy lives.”
