Dr. Weiss received her undergraduate degree in biology from Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio and received her medical degree from the University of Washington Medical School. She completed her family medicine residency at Providence Hospital/Sea Mar Community Health Center. Before joining The Polyclinic, Dr. Weiss practiced at the Providence Rainier Clinic for seven years and later at the Swedish Central Seattle Primary Care Clinic for 18 years. She also served as chief of staff at Swedish and as medical director of Swedish Primary Care Outreach and Community Health.
Dr. Weiss enjoys caring for patients of all ages from pediatrics to geriatrics and also provides obstetric care. She has a special interest in preventive care, managing chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension, breastfeeding support for new moms, child development, and women’s issues.
