Education
Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Twin Cities. He completed his residency in family medicine at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle and a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Dr. Johnson received a master’s degree in public health from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
Special Interests
Dr. Johnson enjoys working with patients of all ages. His special interests include athletic injuries, non-operative orthopedic care, fracture care, ultrasound-guided joint injections, concussion management, nutrition, exercise in pregnancy, and sports and performance training for runners and musicians.
Pediatrics
Dr. Johnson sees pediatric patients ages 4+.
Practice Philosophy
"Physical activity is an important part of who we are and our quality of life whether running a marathon or going grocery shopping. I hope to help patients recover from injury and prevent its recurrence."
Teaching and Community Involvement
University of Washington-Adjunct Clinical Faculty for primary care practitioners. Dr. Johnson provides medical coverage for the Cleveland High School football team in Seattle, Wash., and also provides coverage for USA Boxing events.
