Education
Dr. Brown earned her medical degree from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at Providence Family Medicine Center. She also worked at Country Doctor Community Clinic in Seattle for 10 years and in Santa Fe, New Mexico for seven years before returning to Seattle and joining The Polyclinic.
Special Interests
Dr. Brown enjoys treating people of all ages. She has special interests in women's health and adolescent medicine, as well as LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) health. She has extensive experience treating HIV patients and is certified as a specialist by the American Academy of HIV Medicine. She also has minor procedure skills and performs IUD insertions, colposcopies, and skin lesion and mole removals.
