"Women have a right to personalized, informed health care, and should be involved in all decisions regarding medical care and treatment. I believe in individualizing treatment, and forming a partnership with my patients. A mutually respectful relationship is key to providing high-quality, long-term health care."
“I was inspired to go into medicine by my former family doctor. He allowed me to work in his office when I was in high school and watch him in his practice. He encouraged me to consider medicine as a career. In college, I was inspired by a woman OB/GYN who ran the student health center and volunteered at a family planning clinic. I enjoy the variety as an OB/GYN, seeing patients for many health care needs over their lifetime. I value the long-term relationships I have with them. It’s great to catch up with my patients each year and hear about their children, their travels and their work experiences. It’s personally rewarding to educate and empower women to improve their health.”
