Dr. Smith received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, in Louisville, Ky. He completed his residency at Tacoma Family Medicine, in Tacoma, Wash.
“I shadowed a family medicine physician while exploring future career options before college and found the perfect match – a way in which I could use science to help people of all ages while forming a unique bond with each patient via continuity of care.”
Dr. Smith clinical interests include acute and chronic care, pediatrics, medical weight loss, LGBTQIA+ and men’s and women’s health. He also performs joint injections, dermatologic procedures, newborn circumcision, and gynecological procedures such as pap smears, colposcopy, IUDs and Nexplanon placement/removal.
Dr. Smith sees pediatric patients of all ages.
Outside of work, Dr. Smith enjoys traveling, hiking, playing tennis, running, watching movies, stargazing, and spending time with his partner, family, friends, and two cats.
“I aim to provide a safe, judgment-free zone for my patients. I partner with them by offering education on preventive care and acute/chronic medical conditions, while addressing their unique concerns to improve their overall health.”
