Career Influence
“Growing up, my family went through hardships related to preventable health conditions. I was inspired by the care provided and by the collaboration of healthcare teams, and grew to be a caregiver within my family. As a healthcare provider today, I enjoy lifelong learning from nursing and medicine, as well as learning from each of my patients.”
Clinical Interests
Calista’s clinical interests include health promotion, illness prevention, cardiovascular health, integrated and holistic care, and health education.
Personal Interests
Outside of work, Calista enjoys trying new cuisines and restaurants, exercising, vegetable gardening, and spending time with family, dogs, and friends.
