The Polyclinic's board certified podiatrists see both adults and children for acute or chronic conditions of the foot and ankle. In addition to medical school training, podiatrists have special training in conditions requiring specialized foot care.
We work closely with primary care physicians and specialists to provide expert diagnosis and comprehensive treatment.
We use a range of services to ensure patients receive the best possible treatment and outcomes such as:
- Medical therapies
- Corrective surgeries
- Tendon ruptures
- Flat feet
- Ankle or foot instability
- Deformity sports injuries
- Skin and nail problems
- Heel pain
- Toe walking in children
- Gait problems
- Hammer toe
- Ingrown toe nail
- Corns and calluses
Our podiatrists see patients at our Ballard, Madison Center and Northgate Plaza clinics. If your podiatrist recommends surgery, this could be scheduled at First Hill Surgery Center, an ambulatory or outpatient surgery center.
Procedures such as foot and ankle arthrodesis and bunionectomy can be performed at First Hill Surgery Center. Patients are discharged to recover in their own home with a caregiver just a few hours after surgery. Patients avoid an overnight hospital stay, which can reduce the risk of complications, including infection. First Hill Surgery Center also has overall lower facility fees which means lower out-of-pocket cost compared with a typical hospital stay. Learn more about First Hill Surgery Center.
