Dr. Arnold received his undergraduate degree in biology from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisc. before receiving his medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa. He completed his internship at St. John Westshore Hospital/Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. He completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and completed his fellowship training in sports medicine at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine at Virginia Tech. Before joining The Polyclinic, he was an attending physician at North Shore Medical Clinic/Door County Medical Center in Sturgeon Bay, Wisc.
Dr. Arnold has special interests in preventive and acute care for all ages, non-pharmaceutical/lifestyle modification approaches to medical issues, sideline event coverage, office-based procedures (such as joint injections, skin biopsies, simple fracture care, etc.), sports medicine, concussion management, wilderness and travel medicine, teaching medical students and residents.

My fellowship training in sports medicine also allows me to treat many common musculoskeletal conditions. Think of me as the general contractor for your family’s health. I work in collaboration with you and my specialist colleagues.”
Outside of office hours, Dr. Arnold enjoys cooking and eating great food, skiing, kayaking, stand-up comedy, live music, and travel. He also loves spending time with his wife and two sons.
Since 2006, Dr. Arnold has provided extensive sports medicine sideline and event coverage for high school and collegiate athletics including basketball, football, soccer, volleyball, and wrestling. Dr. Arnold has been a team physician for the U.S. Ski Team since 2008 traveling to more than 25 World Cup events and served on medical teams for mountain-climbing expeditions to Mount Everest and Mount Kilimanjaro.
