In the Washington Health Alliance's (WHA) 2018 Community Checkup report, The Polyclinic was ranked the third highest medical group in the state on a range of quality measures for commercially insured patients. While we have always been among the top tier in the WHA report, this is the highest ranking The Polyclinic has ever achieved.

The annual report compares medical groups in the state of Washington on common types of quality care, such as preventive screenings and care for chronic conditions. The information is gathered from 2017 claims data from more than 4 million Washington residents.

The Polyclinic Ranked Top Performer Based on Quality Measures and Patient Experience

For each publicly reported measure, health care providers are rated as better, average, or worse than the state average. Of the 28 measures reviewed, The Polyclinic received 12 "better" and 16 "average" results, earning us a spot among the top performers.

"I want to congratulate all our providers on this achievement," said Lloyd David, Polyclinic CEO, "and call out specifically the consistent work by our primary care team, as many of these measures represent their work in providing regular preventive care, closing care gaps, calling in their specialist colleagues when needed, and avoiding unnecessary tests and treatment."

"This is a major accomplishment for The Polyclinic, especially given our size compared to our competitors," shared Dr. Mary Anderson, chief quality officer. "We can all be proud of how we're making a real difference in the quality of patients' lives and helping improve overall health outcomes."
