Dr. Herring received her bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, cum laude, from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Ga. She received her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Medicine in Bradenton, Fla. She completed her residency at Central Washington Family Medicine in Yakima, Wash. Before joining The Polyclinic, Dr. Herring practiced family medicine with obstetrics at Southeast Alaska Regional Health Consortium in Juneau.
Dr. Herring provides full spectrum family medicine, with special interests in obstetrics, women’s health, preventive medicine, and osteopathic manipulative medicine.

Outside of the office, Dr. Herring enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, cooking, traveling, and snowboarding.
