Shivali Menda MD

Dr. Menda graduated cum laude from the University of Washington with a degree in neurobiology. She received her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science (OHSU) University in Portland and graduated with Alpha Omega Alpha honors. She completed her ophthalmology fellowship at University of California, San Francisco where she was awarded the Heed Fellowship, the nation’s most prestigious ophthalmology fellowship award. Dr. Menda completed sub-specialty training in glaucoma and cataracts at Oregon Health & Science University and Dever’s Eye Institute in Portland, Ore.
Dr. Menda joins The Polyclinic after being on the faculty of the University of Washington for more than three years where she conducted research on improving outcomes in cataract and glaucoma surgery, as well as teaching resident ophthalmologists.
Dr. Menda specializes in cataract surgery as well as the medical, laser, and surgical management of glaucoma.
Dr. Menda enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, yoga, and travelling.
