Vinod Doreswamy MD

Dr. Vinod Doreswamy finished a fellowship in allergy and immunology at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He completed a residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center and medical school in Mysore, India.
Dr. Doreswamy cares for patients with environmental and food allergies, including peanut allergies, asthma, eczema, chronic cough, recurrent and chronic sinusitis, hives and rhinitis, drug allergy, immunodeficiencies and chronic urticaria. He also treats children and adults with venom and insect bites, CVID immunology issues (recurrent infections, skin infections), complement disorders and HAE (treatment for swellings).
Dr. Doreswamy sees pediatric patients ages 6 months +.

Dr. Doreswamy works with the Allergy and Asthma Network Mothers of Asthmatics, (AANMA) a national patient education outreach organization. He serves as the Seattle-area Anaphylaxis Community Expert and provides presentations to local schools, daycares and community groups. Their goal is to share the right treatment approaches to anaphylaxis in the community. In 2012, Dr. Doreswamy worked closely with King County EMS to train first responders in decision making and appropriate treatment of anaphylaxis.
Dr. Doreswamy is a fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology and the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Dr. Doreswamy enjoys running and is a long distance runner. His wife, Meghana, is a specialist at The Polycinic in neurology and sleep medicine. They have two children.
