The American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
Vicki earned her master’s degree in nursing at Gonzaga University in Spokane, Wash. Before joining The Polyclinic, Vicki worked as an internal medicine nurse practitioner at Summit Primary Care and Walk-in Clinic in Bellevue, Wash. and at Virginia Mason Memorial in Yakima, Wash.
“After working as a registered nurse for over 25 years, I wanted to care for my patients in a more comprehensive manner from diagnosis through the entire plan of care. In particular, I was interested in gaining a deeper understanding of how the human body functions and how developments in scientific knowledge impact treatment decisions so I could share this knowledge with my patients.”
Vicki provides preventive care, urgent visits, and helps patients manage chronic conditions like diabetes, fibromyalgia, osteoporosis, and heart disease.
Outside of work, Vicki enjoys quilting, counted cross-stitch, framing pictures, refinishing furniture, reading, hiking, and traveling. She also likes international travel and visited Italy three times.
“I like the interaction with patients who are willing to allow me to share their life with them. It is quite an honor having patients who trust my care for them.”
