American Board of Family Medicine
Dr. Parle-Pechera received her medical degree from University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She completed her residency at Tacoma Family Medicine in Tacoma, Wash. Before joining The Polyclinic, she worked for over eight years at HealthPoint in Federal Way, Wash. providing family practice and obstetric care.
“I was interested in the medical field from a young age. Then, when I was a teenager, my father developed brain cancer. Through that experience, I saw the way that the medical team came alongside my dad and my family to educate and support us and knew that I wanted to give that same care to other people.”
Dr. Parle-Pechera enjoys taking care of patients of all ages and has special interests in pediatrics and women’s health.
Dr. Parle-Pechera has three young daughters, so outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going out on adventures, creating games at home, and enjoying “their fresh view of the world.” She also enjoys getting outside, running, hiking, and Irish Dancing.
“The best part of my job is the opportunity to listen to and to develop relationships with my patients. I work to truly understand what my patients’ needs are and then partner with them to develop and work toward whatever goals they have for themselves.”
