Education
Stephen J. Rulyak, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and a gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Washington. Dr. Rulyak also received a Master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Washington School of Public Health.
Clinical Interests
Dr. Rulyak specializes in the evaluation and management of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. He performs both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including upper endoscopy and colonoscopy. Dr. Rulyak has a special interest in gastrointestinal oncology and performs endoscopic ultrasound, He also has a focus on inflammatory bowel diseases including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.
