Education

Dr. Salib graduated from the University of California San Diego with a degree in physiology and neuroscience. He then graduated from St. George University School of Medicine. He additionally received an MBA from the St. George University School of Business. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, Calif.

Clinical Interests

Dr. Salib provides comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages. He has special interests in helping patients manage chronic diseases and helping seniors maintain their health. He also performs office-based procedures including cryotherapy and excisional biopsies.

Career Influence

"I watched my father, who is an internal medicine physician with pulmonary and critical care training, care for patients at their most ill state, learning what it meant to have compassion and empathy. My advisor during residency and former Vice President of Primary Care at Eisenhower Health, Dr. Joseph Scherger, further nurtured these qualities and strengthened my understanding of the art of medicine."

Personal Interests

When he's not in the office, you can find Dr. Salib maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle that includes working out in the gym, running, or playing basketball (or watching it). He additionally enjoys surfing, snowboarding, and cooking. He recently became engaged to a lovely pediatric ICU step-down nurse obtaining her master’s degree at UW.

Clinical Research

Prior to starting residency and while completing his MBA, Dr. Salib worked with a multi-specialty medical group in southern California as a research associate for HIV, Diabetes Mellitus, and COPD studies. He participated in patient screening, data collection and entry, and clinic visits for the studies.

Professional Involvement

Dr. Salib is currently a member of AMA, American Academy of Family Physicians, California Academy of Family Physicians, and plans to join the Washington group.
