Dr. McCabe earned his bachelor of arts degree in Philosophy from Yale, studied pre-med and molecular, chemical and developmental biology at the University of Colorado, and received his medical degree from the Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Washington.
Dr. McCabe’s medical expertise is in the diagnosis, management and prevention of chronic disease, with a focus on medical nutrition and the importance of exercise and stress reduction in health. He is also actively building bridges with complementary and alternative medical providers in the community so as to provide comprehensive, balanced care for the whole person. Before attending medical school, he worked as a professional firefighter for seven years.
