Mark received his master’s in nursing degree from the University of Washington Family Nurse Practitioner program. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in nutrition from Bastyr University in Kenmore, Wash. Before joining the Lipid Clinic, Mark worked in Internal Medicine at the Polyclinic.
“I started my nursing career as an RN in 1992, working in medical cardiology. I have had the honor of working with persons of all ages and stages, from prevention through hospice. I now am pleased to match my personal interests of physical activity and nutrition with my profession interest in science based medicine.”
Mark can be heard around the Seattle area playing trumpet in a variety of community bands and orchestras. He especially enjoys performing with his brass quintet. Mark is a year-round bicycle commuter and is also passionate about gardening and cooking.
