“I have been a registered nurse since 1992. I was inspired by patient stories of challenge and hope to pursue an advanced degree in nursing and become a nurse practitioner. Drawing on my experiences in nursing and my background in nutrition, I am rewarded daily in my collaboration with patients as they strive to prevent and cure illness, treat symptoms, and manage health challenges.”
Mark is a primary health care provider to men and women. He has special interests in the management of chronic diseases, preventative medicine, and HIV medicine.
Mark can be heard around the Seattle area playing trumpet in a variety of community bands and orchestras. He especially enjoys performing with his brass quintet. Mark is a year-round bicycle commuter and is also passionate about gardening and cooking.
“Every person is unique and possesses innate gifts they can use to work towards their highest possible state of wellness. As a nurse practitioner, I seek to facilitate that process through collaborative, mutually trusting relationships. My role is first to listen and learn, and then to inform and inspire based on the patient’s chosen goals.”
