"I followed my mother’s steps, who mesmerized me with her hospital stories as a child. She was knowledgeable and kind, always ready to help whoever was in need of her nursing care. I am fortunate to have become a nurse practitioner for now I can live my mother’s teachings and give to the people in need."
Magaly is interested in treating patients who are 18 years or older and are placed on Warfarin to prevent thrombotic events.
Outside of work, Magaly enjoys spending time with her husband and three kids, travelling, listening to music from around the world, road trips with her family, gardening, crafting, and meeting new people.
"I try to create a relationship with my patients based on mutual trust and understanding so they can guide me in the management of their goals of healthy living. Seeing patients who feel better and have improved their health is the most satisfying aspect of my work."
