Dr. Taravati’s practice covers a wide range of general neurology including: headache, epilepsy, stroke, movement disorders, dementia, peripheral nerve disorders, and neuromuscular disorders. Dr. Taravati has a special interest in headache neurology; especially in procedures such as Botox injections, SPG (sphenopalatine ganglion) blocks, and occipital nerve blocks.
Outside of work, Dr. Taravati enjoys bouldering, hiking, live music, and discovering new food.
"I think it is important to work closely with patients and families in working towards a diagnosis and treatment. There are ever-increasing treatment strategies for different conditions, and building a relationship between patient and provider is the first step to customizing the best medical care."
