Lawrence Spiegel PT, DPT, CertMDT
Lawrence received a bachelor’s degree in communications from State University of Albany N.Y., before completing his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Originally from NY, Lawrence worked in the New York City area for several years in various hospital settings treating individuals with traumatic brain injuries, neurological and orthopedic musculoskeletal disorders prior to pursuing travel assignments in outpatient settings. Lawrence continues to advance his interests and studies with an evidence-based treatment approach, became certified in mechanical diagnosis and therapy (MDT) from the McKenzie Institute USA in 2013.
"The most rewarding part of my profession is enabling patients to improve and achieve their goals. My practice is rooted in the belief that a successful rehab program must start with patient empowerment and understanding. As a physical therapist, I believe the patient must be actively involved and participate in treatment involving self-management strategies for both short and long term success."
Having relocated to Seattle in 2012, Lawrence appreciates the natural beauty and outdoor experiences the Pacific Northwest offers. He enjoys running, hiking, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and backpacking.
