Katherine C. Parikh ARNP, AGNP-C
American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
Katherine received her Master of Science in Nursing from Seattle University. She is board certified as an Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
“My journey into healthcare began with inspiration from the excellent and empathetic care I witnessed by healthcare teams during a tough period when several family members fell ill in succession. I was working in corporate finance for a few years and realized that a long-term career there wasn't for me. The strong provider-patient relationships cemented my decision to pursue a career change and become a nurse practitioner. I hope to provide patients and families the compassion and sense of gratitude I have felt for the healthcare providers that have taken care of my family members.”
Katherine’s clinical interests are in the prevention and management of cholesterol disorders and cardiovascular disease.
Katherine enjoys reading, traveling, scuba diving, hiking, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her husband and dog.
“My role as a provider isn't just to assess a patient and impose a treatment plan. I believe in working with each patient to co-develop a personalized set of actions incorporating their own knowledge of their health and a deep understanding of their habits and goals. Ultimately, the plan that works for one patient won't necessarily work for another, and I strive to find the right plan for each person I see.”
