"The hand and upper extremity are such a personal and important part of our identity, creativity, expression and livelihood, that injuries or involvement of these areas can be traumatic at many levels. Patient education, providing high quality care and returning patients to as high a level of function as possible are priorities. Having patients return to work and/or activities they enjoy is the ultimate goal."
Outside of work, Karyn enjoys dragon boat paddling and racing, playing the ukulele, ikebana, gardening and baking.
