Heather received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Mich. She received her Master of Physician Assistant Studies at Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Mont. Before joining The Polyclinic, she worked in pediatric surgery at Seattle Children’s and in general surgery at Kaiser Permanente in Bellevue, Wash.
“I’ve always wanted to spend my life helping people. I love being a PA because I have been able to provide care to people of all ages in some of the most vulnerable times of their lives.”
Heather enjoys educating women about their bodies and coaching them through all of the different phases of life. She also strives to be an empathetic listener for her patients.
Before having children, Heather and her husband lived in Belgium for a year and traveled Europe. Now that they have a daughter and a son, they enjoy hiking, boating, and going on trips as a family.
“Establishing relationships with my patients and providing empathetic and compassionate care is my greatest goal as a PA. The most rewarding and inspiring moments in my career have been the simple, yet heartfelt ‘thank you’ from patients who wanted to feel heard and valued.”
