Elizabeth Dowling MD

Dr. Dowling received her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Science Center in Denver and completed her residency at McGaw Medical Center of Northwestern University in Chicago.
Prior to joining The Polyclinic, Dr. Dowling was a hospitalist at Kadlec Medical Center in Richland, Wash., and Samaritan Hospital for Moses Lake Clinic in Moses Lake, Wash. She has also worked at a number of other hospitals, including: Whakatane Hospital in Whakatane, New Zealand; Ketchikan General Hospital in Ketchikan, Alaska; St. Vincent’s Hospital in Santa Fe, N.M.; Providence Seaside Hospital and North Coast Clinic in Seaside, Ore.; and Legacy Salmon Creek Hospital in Vancouver, Wash.
As a hospitalist, Dr. Dowling’s practice is devoted solely to the care of Polyclinic patients who are inpatient at Swedish Medical Center. She works cooperatively with The Polyclinic’s primary care physicians, making sure that their patients receive immediate, thorough, coordinated care from the time they are admitted until they are discharged.
