Dr. Constans completed her undergraduate degree in history at Reed College. She received her medical degree from the University of New Mexico and completed her residency training at Swedish Medical Center-Cherry Hill in Seattle.
Dr. Constans enjoys working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, including the LBGT community. She has a special interest in providing support to patients working on stress reduction, mental health challenges, and chronic illness of all kinds. She has additional training in mind-body medicine. She is conversationally fluent in Spanish.
Mind-Body Medicine Consults and Classes
Dr. Constans offers training to patients in evidenced-based Mind-Body medicine skills. These skills help patients cope with the stress of chronic illnesses such as arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, cancer and depression/anxiety. She offers group classes and individual consultations throughout the year. Patients learn various types of meditation, guided imagery, mindful eating, biofeedback, autogenics, and more.
Mind-Body Medicine Group Classes are offered throughout the year in nine-week sessions. Consults are 50 minutes long and billed to insurance as a regular office visit.

Art, reading, gardening, bike riding and kayaking. Together with her husband and two young children, she enjoys exploring the cultural and environmental richness of the Pacific Northwest.
