Dr. Flugstad earned his medical degree from the University of Washington where he also completed an internship in general surgery and residency in orthopedic surgery. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic oncology at the Harvard School of Medicine.
Dr. Flugstad's special interests include total joint replacements (hips, knees, shoulders), revision total joint arthroplasty, musculoskeletal tumor surgery (bone and soft tissue/benign and malignant tumors), and arthroscopic surgery.
