Dan Burns, MD earned his medical degree from the University of Minnesota -Minneapolis. He completed his residency at the University of Arizona-Tucson in internal medicine and his fellowship at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in medical oncology. He joins The Polyclinic after 20+ years of caring for patients in the Mayo Clinic Health System in the Midwest.
Dr. Burn’s practice encompasses all areas of oncology and hematology with a special interest in combining chemotherapy and radiation for lung, head and neck, and other localized cancers. As a member of The Polyclinic Tumor Board, Dr. Burns participates in weekly meetings to discuss and determine best treatment plans for each newly diagnosed patient with breast cancer.
Dr. Burns strives to offer all patients and their loved ones an open, honest and upfront approach to their cancer diagnosis.
