Dr. Hackerman received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed an internship and surgical residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He completed a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at the University of Texas Houston Northwest Medical Center.

Special Interests

Dr. Hackerman is a general surgeon with a special interest in minimally invasive surgery, anti-reflux procedures, and endoscopy.

Practice Philosophy

"My goal is to optimize the health of my patients through the most appropriate means. I believe in working closely with my patients throughout the entire process so that their recovery from surgery is as swift and easy as possible. I encourage my patients to ask questions so that they better understand their diagnosis, which will help us move forward to treatment as a team."

Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, guitar and snowboarding.
