American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
Claire earned her Masters of Nursing degree from Seattle University with a specialty in family medicine. She has clinical experience working with patients across the lifespan in both urban and rural settings.
“I was inspired to pursue a career in nursing after working alongside several nurse practitioners in an outpatient specialty clinic. I admired their ability to connect with patients and provide holistic care. While completing my master's degree, I worked as a registered nurse on an inpatient psychiatric unit. I continued to grow my skills in a home health setting, reviewing patient health care goals and providing education on chronic disease management.”
Claire's clinical interests include preventative medicine, chronic disease, and women's health. Claire provides physical exams, treats urgent care issues like sudden-onset illnesses and infections, provides patient education about chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, and performs Medicare annual wellness visits as needed.
In her free time, Claire enjoys practicing yoga, hiking, and skiing.
“As a family nurse practitioner, my goal is to provide holistic, patient-centered care. I value increasing access to care for underserved populations and building long-lasting relationships with my patients. I also enjoy working as part of a multidisciplinary team and providing education in order to provide the best possible care and assist my patients in achieving their health goals.”
