Cassandra Giedt MD

Dr. Cassandra Giedt received her undergraduate degree in biology from Wellesley College in Wellesley, Mass. She received her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine and completed her family practice residency at Group Health in Seattle, Wash. Before joining The Polyclinic, Dr. Giedt worked at the Swedish Central Seattle Primary Care Clinic and the Medalia Rainier Clinic in Seattle.

Dr. Giedt provides comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages and has special interests in OB and prenatal care, well-child care, type 2 diabetes, and obesity medicine. She also performs in-office procedures including IUD and Nexplanon insertions, simple skin biopsy and cryotherapy, and joint and soft tissue injections.
Dr. Giedt has three teenage boys so much of her free time involves school activities supporting them. She has an Australian shepherd that gets her out of the house and she loves to cook and entertain.

Dr. Giedt works with the residents at Swedish Cherry Hill supervising their clinic once a month.
