Caroline Gore AuD
Dr. Gore earned a Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree from the University of Washington in Seattle.
Caroline started her professional life as a high school teacher but decided to find another career that better suited her goals. "What I liked most about the field was that it offered an opportunity to positively impact patient’s quality of life and allowed me to maintain an educational aspect to my work."
Caroline has a special interest in using technology and aural rehabilitation to help patients achieve their best hearing possible. She enjoys working one-on-one with adult patients, but her clinical interests also include finding better ways to educate the public about measure they can take to prevent hearing loss and the importance of early monitoring and identification of hearing loss.
Caroline enjoys baking, hiking and spending time with her family.
"I truly enjoy getting to know each patient, their communication wants and needs, and their lifestyle to find the best individual approach to improving their hearing and quality of life through improved communication. Each patient and situation is unique, which provides a number of engaging challenges that means that my works is never dull or done. Some of the best days of my career are when a patient comes back to me and tells me that for the first time in a very long time, they were able to participate in a conversation without feeling embarrassed or that they never even realized how noisy the birds were outside of their window!"
