Dr. Carlos Pineda, a native of Guatemala, received his medical degree at Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala. He was a postdoctoral research fellow in the department of surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, Calif., where he also completed a general surgery residency. He completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, Calif.
Dr. Pineda provides general vascular care with a focus on catheter-based and traditional approaches for the management of peripheral arterial disease, abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms, and carotid disease. Other interests include dialysis access creation, treatment of venous disorders, including venous insufficiency, varicose veins, and iliac vein obstruction.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Pineda likes to spend time with his family, exercise, and listen to live music.
