Please note: On January 18, 2021, Brad Houser, ARNP has moved to our new Bellevue location.
American Association of Nurse Practitioners
Brad completed his Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Seattle Pacific University with a specialization in family practice. Prior to graduate school, he earned his initial Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing locally at Bellevue College. Before advancing to his current role, Brad worked as a Registered Nurse float at The Polyclinic for over three years.
“I made the decision to become a healthcare provider after working in the field as a registered nurse. My love for nursing and patient advocacy naturally translated into becoming a nurse practitioner, where I am now able to solve more complex problems with patients. I chose internal medicine because I believe in the power of a primary care provider to make real changes to a patient’s longevity and quality of life.”
Brad’s clinical interests include preventive medicine, musculoskeletal injuries, and holistic therapies. He also performs simple office procedures, including mole removals/biopsies, skin biopsies, treatment of warts and precancerous lesions.
Brad enjoys all ‘outside activities,’ including hiking, backpacking, biking, rafting, and rock-climbing.
“My philosophy is to work cooperatively with patients to make decisions surrounding health and wellness. I do this by listening attentively, asking questions, and appreciating each patient’s unique situation.”
