On Sunday, March 10, 2013, we switch from standard to daylight savings time. Clocks get set an hour forward, meaning a loss of time but more evening hours of daylight. For some, the first few days of daylight savings time can mean sleepiness and reduced concentration. The Polyclinic Sleep Center Specialists, Meredith Broderick, MD and David Chang, MD, recommend that you should respect your sleep time and your body’s need for it:
1. Reset all of your clocks on the Saturday evening before the switch.
The fifth annual Music for Medicine benefit auction and concert, held May 23rd, 2012 at the Seattle Asian Art Museum, raised a record $58,000 for The Polyclinic Community Health Foundation.
