“Holistic Health for Gay Men” at Gay City University May 14

Polyclinic family medicine physician Robert Goode, MD, will present a program on “Holistic Health for Gay Men” at this year’s Gay City University on May 14 at Antioch University in Seattle.  He will discuss four key areas: physical, emotional, spiritual, and sexual health, and each segment will be followed by time for the audience to ask questions.

Two of The Polyclinic’s physicians were featured on KING 5 TV's New Day Northwest recently in their special health edition.  Drs. Paula Zook, dermatologist and Lauren Plawner, pediatric neurologist, were each interviewed by host Margaret Larson on the KING 5 daytime talk show.

Dr. Zook provided valuable information about protecting kids from the summer sun, including use of sun blocks, how the sun can damage skin even without a sunburn, and how to spot potentially cancerous moles.
