The relocation of many physician offices and services to The Polyclinic Madison Center is progressing right on schedule, with the third wave of moves taking place the weekend of April 28, 2012.  During the months of April and May, dozens of practices are moving from their First Hill locations to the new clinic at 7th and Madison, just east of I-5.  This consolidation of services will allow patients to receive primary care and many specialty services under one roof, as well as lab and diagnostic imaging.

This move only affects practices and services from the First Hill neighborhood; doctors at The Polyclinic Northgate, Downtown, Ballard, Sand Point, Jefferson Park Family Medicine, Edmonds, Sequim will remain where they are, as will the Sleep Medicine Center.  Vascular Surgery will remain unaffected, other than vascular ultrasound moving from Broadway to Madison Center.

As of Monday, April 30, 2012, the following departments will be open for business at The Polyclinic Madison Center:

  • Allergy
  • Infusion Therapy
  • Oncology
  • Orthopedics
  • Physical Medicine
  • Physical Therapy
  • Podiatry
  • Rheumatology
  • Urology
  • Vascular Ultrasound
  • X-ray rooms (diagnostic imaging) open on fourth floor

Already located at The Polyclinic Madison Center from earlier moves are:

  • Audiology
  • Clinical Research
  • Dermatology
  • Endocrinology
  • ENT (Otolaryngology)
  • Infectious Disease
  • Ophthalmology
  • Pulmonary (except for Dr. Jon Huseby)
  • Anticoagulation Clinic/Lipid Clinic
  • Cardiology and Cardiology Diagnostics
  • Nutrition and Diabetes Education
  • Obstetrics and Gynecology (except Dr. Richard Agress, who remains at The Polyclinic Broadway)

Several diagnostic imaging and lab services are also now available at Madison Center as well as other locations, including:

  • Breast screening mammography

  • MRI
  • Phlebotomy for Pediatrics, OB/Gyn and Cardiology

Our next move of additional departments takes place in mid-May, so be sure to check back often for updates.  If you have an appointment scheduled with a Polyclinic physician and you are unsure whether that doctor has moved, simply go to their bio page on this site and you will see if and when that doctor is moving.
