Sara Miller Brown, MSW, LICSW

The Polyclinic is pleased to announce of the addition of Sara Miller Brown MSW, LICSW to our Behavioral Health team at our Madison Center location.

Sara earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in social work from the University of Washington in Seattle, Wash. Previously, Sara worked as a clinical therapist and case manager at Fairfax Behavioral Health Hospital in Kirkland, Wash.

Sara utilizes evidence-based practices and interventions to treat a wide array of behavioral health concerns including, depression, anxiety, stress management, grief and loss, life changes, trauma, interpersonal conflict, communication and relationships, anger, and emotion dysregulation. Sara also has experience in working with populations across the lifespan, having served both geriatric and child/adolescent patients.

“I believe in a client-centered approach in which both therapist and patient work as partners in building successful treatment. I strive to provide holistic care that appreciates differences and can be tailored to each client’s individual needs, personality, and identity.”

In her free time, Sara enjoys travelling and spending time with loved ones. She is an avid reader who explores everything from the classics to the New York Times Bestsellers List. Sara believes in both mental and physical development, and spends her free time studying new languages, engaging in martial arts classes, and relaxing in local Seattle coffee shops.
