The Polyclinic pulmonary medicine department is pleased to welcome Emily Howieson, MSN, AGPCNP-BC. Emily sees patients at our Madison Center location.

Emily received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and her master’s degree in nursing practice at the University of Massachusetts Medical School Graduate School of Nursing in Worcester.

“I believe in practicing patient-centered care as part of a dynamic team-based approach,” Emily shared. “To provide effective patient-centered care, treatment plans must be personally tailored to each individual so that they may achieve their healthcare goals and needs. I value being able to establish and develop a long-lasting relationship with my patients and look forward to engaging in a collaborative experience.”

Emily has a special practice interest in the diagnosis and treatment of asthma and COPD. As an Adult-Geriatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Emily is certified to work with patients ages 13 and older.

While Emily is a true New Englander, she enjoys exploring the Emerald City. In her spare time, she enjoys the outdoors (especially rowing, soccer, alpine skiing, and hiking), traveling, expanding her culinary skills, and spending time with family.

Welcome to The Polyclinic, Emily!
