The Polyclinic is pleased to welcome Dr. Carlos E. Pineda to Vascular Surgery. Dr. Pineda is board-certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and a member of the Society for Vascular Surgery. He will be seeing patients at The Polyclinic Broadway location and can be reached at 206-860-5581.
Dr. Pineda, a native of Guatemala, received his medical degree at Universidad San Carlos de Guatemala. He was a postdoctoral research fellow in the department of surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine in Stanford, California, where he also went on to complete a general surgery residency and receive Vascular Surgery Resident of the Year in 2012. He completed a vascular surgery fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, California.
Dr. Pineda provides general vascular care with a focus on catheter-based and traditional approaches for the management of peripheral arterial disease, abdominal and thoracic aortic aneurysms, and carotid disease. Some of his other clinical interests include dialysis access creation, treatment of venous disorders, and iliac vein obstruction. “My goal is to deliver state-of-the art, compassionate and comprehensive care to patients with vascular disease,” said Pineda.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Pineda likes to spend time with his family, exercise, and listen to live music.
