Dr. Hao received his medical degree from Beijing Medical University in Beijing, China. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, and his residency in internal medicine at the East Carolina University School of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in endocrinology at the National Institutes of Health and is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Dr. Hao specializes in diabetes and endocrinology, and sees patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, thyroid disorders, calcium and metabolic bone diseases, gonadal disorders, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and multiple endocrine neoplasia syndromes.
“I am fully committed to providing the highest quality healthcare to each of my patients,” shares Dr. Hao. “I believe that every patient is unique; therefore, their care should be tailored to their individual needs. As a healthcare provider, my role is to educate my patients and empower them to become active participants in their care, provide them with all possible therapeutic options, and work together to choose the best treatment plan for each.”
In his free time, Dr. Hao enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors.
