The Polyclinic has signed an agreement to align with OptumCare, a leading health services company. This proposed partnership gives The Polyclinic the flexibility and independence to remain physician led, combined with significant resources to grow, serve more patients, and innovate faster.
Polyclinic physicians and executive leaders began the search for a partner after developing our strategic plan to guide the next 100 years of providing care in the Northwest.
A top priority in seeking a partner was to retain control over patient care and decision-making, allowing physicians to maintain a strong voice, something that makes The Polyclinic special.
The Polyclinic’s day-to-day clinic operations will continue as usual. Our workforce, including our physicians, staff, and management, will be unchanged as a result of the partnership. Patients will see the same providers and work with the same care teams. We will continue to accept the same insurance plans.
Before the agreement is final, the affiliation must meet a number of closing requirements including, but not limited to, approval of the Federal Trade Commission (FTC).
The Polyclinic’s future plans include expanding to new locations, bringing our multi-specialty model to communities surrounding Seattle, and introducing new services that let our patients and doctors connect in the way that works best for them. We look forward to achieving these goals and continuing to serve you and our community.
