Two Polyclinic doctors were featured yesterday on KING-5’s New Day Northwest with Margaret Larson. Rheumatologist Jennifer Gorman, MD, MPH, and orthopedic surgeon Christopher Cannon, MD, shared the story of their coordinated efforts to get 1964 Tokyo Olympic rower Andre Nowaczyk back on his feet by first managing his condition with medication and physical therapy and ultimately performing a total hip replacement.
Andre said he had “the best experience one could have” at The Polyclinic.
“From the first meeting the rest was easy— to make a decision and go for surgery and recuperation. It’s beyond expectations.”
