The Polyclinic Madison Center Internal Medicine Department welcomes Maura O’Connor Lenth ARNP.
“I have always been motivated to combine my early background in research and my positions as a registered nurse and nurse practitioner to identify evidence-based outcomes for improving health while maintain strong one-on-one relationships with patients,” Maura says. “I listen closely to patient’s needs, provide relevant education, and make treatment plans in partnership with the patient.”
Maura’s primary interests are to provide effective care for both serious and long-lasting illnesses while promoting preventative medicine to improve long-term wellness. In the clinic, Maura preforms physical exams, treats urgent care issues like sudden-onset illnesses and infections, provides patient education about chronic conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, and performs Medicare annual wellness visits as needed.
Maura received a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Nursing from the Seattle University. She then moved on to receive her Masters of Science in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.
Outside of the office, she enjoys outdoor activities, gardening, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
