What is the Mind-Body Skills Group?

The class uses evidence-based techniques created by The Center for Mind-Body Medicine to teach attendees the scientific basis of mind-body medicine along with the practice of self-care and stress-management skills in a group setting.

What is the class format of the Mind-Body Skills Group?

Classes begin with a brief meditation, followed by a group sharing of last week's topic, and the introduction/practice/discussion of a new skill. The class is designed to help people manage stress, anxiety, depression, chronic pain or illness; it is not a good option for those who can't participate in a group setting.

The class is a 9-week series held on Tuesdays, 2 – 4 p.m. from May 2 – June 27, 2017 at The Polyclinic Madison Center (8th floor/Suite C).

Call 206-860-4424 to sign up. Attending all classes is requested; a phone or in-person interview is required before registering. Space is limited to 12 members. No referral required.
