The Internal Medicine department welcomes Dr. Khaled Elghonemy to The Polyclinic. Dr. Elghonemy will be located at Madison Center, 9th floor, Suite C. He starts seeing patients on Monday, January 28, 2019.
Dr. Elghonemy received his medical degree from Cairo University in Egypt. He completed his first residency training in internal medicine and gastroenterology in Egypt. Upon his arrival to the U.S., he completed his residency training in internal medicine at The Wright Center in Scranton, Penn. He holds a master’s degree from Barts & The London School of Medicine University of London, England. Before joining The Polyclinic, Dr. Elghonemy worked as an outpatient primary care physician at PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, Wash.
Dr. Elghonemy practices all areas of internal medicine to provide comprehensive primary care to adults of all ages. His special interests are preventive medicine, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, smoking cessation, osteoporosis, men’s health, mental health, and liver and gastroenterological diseases.

Outside of work, Dr. Elghonemy likes to spend time with his wife and three children. He is new to the Seattle area and looking forward to exploring outdoor activities. He likes travelling to new destinations and enjoys travelling abroad to visit his family in Egypt and his wife’s family in Canada. He keeps active by practicing CrossFit at an amateur level.
