Joni Ghormley, ARNP

The Internal Medicine department welcomes Joni Ghormley, ARNP to The Polyclinic Madison Center, 9th floor, Suite B. Joni will start seeing patients on Tuesday, May 29, 2018.

Joni received her bachelor's degree in zoology and her master's degree in nursing from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. Before joining The Polyclinic Joni worked as a family nurse practitioner at Newcastle Primary Care/UW Valley Medical Clinic, Health South (now US Healthworks), and Pacific Medical Center in Renton, Wash.

Joni provides primary care for adults, which includes preventive examinations, management of chronic diseases, and diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries.

"I believe in the incredible, universal power of the human spirit," Joni shared. "By utilizing my knowledge, compassion, and wisdom, I strive to be the catalytic spark that ignites the flame of change. Each day I am joyful, grateful, and humbled when patients achieve inner stillness and personal health goals despite their unique challenges."

Outside of work, Joni says she lives a passionate life that she shares with her two ex-racing greyhounds and two cats. She is an art advocate and loves galleries, live theater, and dance performances. She is curious about other cultures and travels enthusiastically. Joni is a nature enthusiast, and often explores hiking trails in search of waterfalls. She is also inspired in her day-to-day life with jogging, reading, and writing.
