A Q & A with Margaret Mioduszewski, MD, a Dermatologist
What are your go-to healthy foods?
“Nuts (almonds, walnuts), cheese, veggies (carrots, celery, broccoli).”
What are your splurge foods?
“Salted milk chocolate and caramel.”
What are some of your favorite ways to move (and how often)?
“These days, keeping up with and running after my three toddlers has been a great workout in itself. I like to work out at home when they go to bed – spinning on a stationary bike, doing weights and yoga.”
What is some healthful advice you have received and why?
“Motion is lotion! Keep active and moving always. This helps me feel my best so I can perform my best.”
What is some healthful advice you give to your patients and why?
“Important to start applying sunscreen regularly so it become a routine for patients and their children. Children learn by the examples we portray to them.”
What are some of your go-to ways to practice self-care?
“No matter how busy the day is, I always try to find at least 30 minutes for myself each day to read a fiction book, try out a new recipe or go for a walk to clear my head.”
