The Internal Medicine department is pleased to announce the addition of Vesna Jamborcic, MD to The Polyclinic Madison Center. Dr. Jamborcic received her medical degree from the University of Belgrade Medical School in Yugoslavia. She completed her internal medicine residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, Mich. and completed an internship in ophthalmology at University Eye Clinic School of Medicine in Belgrade, Serbia. Before joining The Polyclinic, Dr. Jamborcic practiced at the Everett Clinic.
Dr. Jamborcic provides comprehensive primary care to adults of all ages and treats patients with acute and chronic illness including high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, and eye diseases. Her special interests are preventive medicine, wellness, and integrative medicine. She enjoys guiding patients in healthy habits with lifestyle changes and regular screening tests and using all possible resources to help patients improve their health. She has special interests in preventive health, women’s health, hypertension, and heart disease. She provides annual physicals and wellness visits, and performs simple office procedures including mole removals/biopsies, rash and skin biopsies, and treatment of warts and precancerous lesions.
“I believe in preserving health as long as possible and using a holistic approach when appropriate,” Dr. Jamborcic shared. “I enjoy connecting with patients, arriving at a mutual plan of treatment, and seeing the positive effects of lifestyle changes.”
In her free time, Dr. Jamborcic loves hiking and swimming in the summer, and snowboarding and yoga in the winter. She also enjoys reading history and mystery novels as well as cooking and baking and experimenting with new recipes.
